We had a rental car in 2017 and we had a chance to visit the National Shrine of St Terese.
The shrine consists of a Chapel, gardens, and a Catholic retreat with lodge and cabins.
The shrine is set on Lynn Canal on the Inside Passage next to Pearl Harbor on the north.
The grounds are beautifully maintained and there are peaceful water views in most directions.
The Shrine Chapel is a beautiful small stone church set on a peninsula that is basically an island with a causeway.
